We provide the
frame and hardware. You provide the 2x4’s, the family,
friends and backyard festivities! A kit consists of 2
leg frames, 2 pivots, 2 patented slide-locks, hardware
and instructions to assemble a single bench which converts
to a half-table.
Patented slide-locks let you pivot the seatback to a tabletop
without tools, in seconds. You can use inexpensive 2x4’s
from the lumber yard, painted or stained as you please.
Or, use weather-resistant mahogany, redwood, or cedar.
Make it 4' long, 8' long, or anything in between.
Once you have the lumber, all you need is a drill, screwdriver
and wrench for the initial assembly. The frame components
are rugged, all-weather, high-density sand polyethylene
that needs no maintenance. Seat height is 17 1/2"; tabletop
is 31" high. When two kits are used, 30" across. In the
off-season, use one in your rec room, sunroom, or the
kids' room.
